The book is profusely illustrated with maps, cross sections and block diagrams, all simplified and redesigned. The Making of India is a sequel of sorts of the wonderfully great works of D.N. Wadia, M.S. Krishnan and E.H. Pascoe, which bring out contributions of pioneers and giants of the pre-Independence time. The author has chosen to base his account on the works of mainly those who explored the land of India after 1947. |
